No Place For Racism

Racism,  Image, Picture
When we look around and observe carefully we will notice discrimination in our society. Wheresoever it may be in offices, restaurants, or even local malls, we people discriminated each other, on the sole basis of skin colour, cast creed, religions, cultures. yes of course race.

We may define racism as the hatred of one person by another or the belief that another person is less than human because of skin colour, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person.  This can then lead to abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another community on the basis of such a belief. That is how the slave trade began many years ago.

I don’t believe in borders, in barriers, in flags. I think that we all belong, independent of latitude and longitude, to the same family, the human family. ~Vittorio Arrigoni
racism,  Image, Picture
Say no to racism. Say yes to equality.
Racism is one of the severe diseases of human society. Racism has birthed many of society’s ills. Discrimination, separation, and segregation are products of a racist mentality. When one race acts out its superior beliefs in a society, there is no room for harmony or community.

Racists tend to feel threatened by anyone who is from a different race, religion, or culture. It comes from ignorance and fear brought on by stereotypes.
Racism affects badly, if anyone experiences racism of any kind, they can feel lonely and, getting depressed, sad. Like bullying, they may also try and avoid situations where racist behaviour could occur, and pretend to be ill, play truant from school, or be scared to leave their house.
We are not born racist and racism is not in our genes. It comes from our views and beliefs that develop as we grow up. We can be influenced by friends, family, newspapers, and society in general. Racism is abnormal and unacceptable, it is based on ignorance and fear. It’s serious stuff and one that we all want to avoid.

racism,  Image, Picture
Racism is treating someone differently or unfairly simply because
they belong to a different ethnic community.
Just treat all people as people:
Islam is the most anti-racist and anti-prejudicial way of life. Islam calls for equality and brotherhood of mankind. No racism. no superiority, no tribalism but kindness and respect to the other. Allah (God) doesn't look at the colour of our skin; He looks at the level of our Imaan (Faith).
Allah says in Quran:
'O people! We created you from one man and one woman and made you branches and tribes that you may recognise one another. Undoubtedly, the most respected among you in the sight of Allah is he who is more pious, verily, Allah is knowing, Aware.  Surah Al-Hujurat : Ayat 13

No racism, we are the same.
Messenger eradicated the problem of racial or colour discrimination so successfully he said; "All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action."

others to smile.

Be A Gentleman

A man can be as great as he wants to be.

Real men do cry and they do show emotion.

Asking for directions is what real smart men do.

Courtesy is as much a mark of a gentleman as courage.

A Letter To The West That Raised Me
By Yasmin Mogahed
Growing up, you read me the Ugly Duckling. And for years I believed that was me. I am a woman—that ugly duckling among men. For so long you taught me I was nothing more than a bad copy of the standard.
I couldn’t run as fast or lift as much. I didn’t make the same money and I cried too often. I grew up in a man’s world where I didn’t belong.

A Story Of A Muslim Brother and A Hospital Nurse
There was a companion of ours in Glasgow who became ill and was hospitalised. He was admitted for three days and on the fourth day the attendant nurse said, “Marry me”.
He [the brother in Glasgow] asked, “Why? I am a Muslim, you and I cannot become companions.”
She said, “I’ll become Muslim”.
“What’s the reason?” it was asked.

We And Our Parents

Being dutiful to parents is one of the keys to enter Paradise.

Image, Picture, parents
Give your parents roses while they are alive, not dead.
Once, while conversing with Almighty Allah, Prophet Musa/Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) requested: "O' Lord! I desire to meet the person, who is to be my companion in Paradise."

Jibril (Gabriel) descended and informed Prophet Musa/Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) that his companion was to be a butcher who lived in a certain place. Prophet Musa/Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) set out in search of him and arrived at his shop, when he noticed a youth, resembling a night watchman, busy selling meat.

More Prayers Less Worries

Many times in life we pray, but we don't receive specific answers to our prayers. There are many reason why we do not get our payers answered. And in the result we feel sick, broken, disappointed and defeated.
I think it is very important to understand that why our payers are unanswered and how to get answers to our prayers.

Human For Sale

Image, Picture, human trafficking
Human Trafficking is a heinous crime against humanity and an international issue. Every country in the world is affected by trafficking. Indeed human trafficking has been institutionalized; you may say a lucrative industry.
Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad. Human trafficking usually affects women and children. Human trafficking depends on the use of force, fraud, or compels to exploit a person for profit. It has a worst impact on individual victims. Trafficking is a crime that violates the fundamental human rights of its victims.

If you love me, have sabar (patience) and I will knock on your door when the time is right.
Don’t give me privileges which I don’t deserve.

A Secret Fighting

Today; I am going to pull your attention towards a very sensitive topic. A secret struggle that takes place among those, who are habitual of it. It is a struggle against their own body, if a person will not fight against it, it will take complete hold on doer and make him/her slave of dirty and lustful desires. Mostly people even not realize what is it. It is a private behavior rarely shared or discussed in public. I have chosen to write about masturbation a topic which is commonly perceived as taboo because it is an unpleasant and unethical act. Masturbation is very evil indeed, it is impermissible (haraam) to masturbate.
It is very delicate topic need to be discussed under Islamic and ethical, healthy and positive point of view just for awareness and cure sake.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

image, picture, love
We all have a basic need to be loved. When we are children we are content with parental love and family bonds make us feel satisfy and secure. When we mature and we form romantic relationships, most individuals feel a natural need to love and be loved in return.
Love is so common word in our everyday vocabulary. Specially guys use love like it's not a big thing. Guys randomly throw “I love you” around like it’s nothing, so girls! do not flatter your self.

Small Things Matter

We say a simple Salaam (greetings) to anyone, we’re rewarded.
We smile at someone, we’re rewarded.
We treat someone with kindness, we’re rewarded.
We begin anything with Bismillaah (in the name of Allah (God), that action of us is rewarded.
We end our activities with Alhamdulillah (Thanking to Allah (God), we’re also rewarded.
We think of doing a good deed, we’re rewarded.

Three Words

There are many things that you can do to strengthen your relationships. Often the most effective thing you can do involves saying just three words. When spoken sincerely, these statements often have the power to develop new friendships, deepen old ones and even bring healing to relationships that have soured.
The following three-word phrases can be tools to help develop every relationship.

Can I Help?
Good friends see a need and then try to fill it. When they see a hurt they do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they jump in and help out.

Boyfriend And Girlfriend Relationship

image, picture, relationship
Islam is a strong advocate of marriage.
We live in a society where communication with the opposite sex is compuslory at some point of our lives. But as for a having a relationship with the opposite sex is concerned, this is indeed forbidden in Islam. Boyfriend and girlfriend relationship has become a common thing also in our Pakistani society. People think there is no harm in having such relation. It has become so common that we don't feel ashamed of it. In Islam, there is no such thing as a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship, it is strictly forbidden.

Anger always comes from frustrated expectations.

Being angry doesn't mean that you have right to be cruel.

Suicide Is Not An Answer To Life’s Problems

image, picture, suicide
Suicide is a global issue. Nearly one million suicides occur worldwide every year, which means that every forty (40) seconds somebody dies by suicide, with anywhere from 10 million to 20 million suicide attempts annually. According to some research suicide rates are 50%-60% higher than the official rate. The current attitude and dilemmas, unlike in previous times, suicide is so common. The reasons why a person to commit suicide are multifaceted and complex as the thousands of people who do so every year. These days it seems suicide among teens and young adults is out of control. We are regularly hearing reports about someone taking their life.

Watch Your Words

image, picture, harsh words
Allah says:
"Not a word does one utter, except that there is an (angel) Watching, Ready to record it."
Surah Qaf : Ayat 18

On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good things or keep silent.

Allah Loves Me The Most

Few days back my friend consoled me by these kind words, "You have a weak relation with Allah (God) so you take every little matter as a big problem and believe that everyone is a saint." My other friend explained a very beautiful point to me, "You should release your tears for Allah (God) specially when you ask pardon from HIM."
These words help me a lot while I was composing my self and my shattered trust. So the following post is especially for my self, it's indeed self-realization. Insha Allah I will make a strong bond with Allah The One and Only God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe.

A Muslim Woman Can Propose To A Muslim Man

image, picture, relationships, Muslim couples
A Muslim woman is allowed to approach a man with a marriage proposal, if she comes to know of a man who has good character, Deen and would be a good husband, she can approach him in an honorable way with a marriage proposal. This may be seen as improper or brazen in some cultures. But that is a cultural attitude, not an Islamic one.

Guard Your Heart Girls

image, picture, relationshipsheart
Heart is so precious and fragile, and yet so complicated, that there are parts and feelings it holds that are specially reserved as a gift for married couples. This results in the need for us to be alert and guarding our hearts at all times; primarily, when it comes to relationships.

This is especially true for females, who tend to have a God-given desire to be loved, cherished, protected and understood by an earthly, godly man. This is not a bad thing at all, except for when we go seeking it from a bunch of different guys through flirting or relationships, instead of realizing that Allah (God) already fulfills this desire, and only our God-given future husband could help amplify it.

Let's Make It A Special Ramadan

image, picture, Ramadan
Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting. Fasting begins at the break of dawn and ends at sunset. During this time, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and sex. Actully the idea of fasting is not to starve oneself but it set a different spiritual plane altogether.
And is intended to teach Muslims about patience, humility, and spirituality. Muslims fast for the sake of Allah (God) and to offer more prayer than usual.

Thank You Allah, For Giving Us A Lot More Than Our Share

"And O beloved, when My bondsmen ask you about Me, then I am indeed near, accept the call of the caller when he calls upon Me; then they should obey My Commands and believe in Me, so that they may get the way."
 (Surah Al-Baqara : Ayah186)

We ask, He gives.
We cry, He listens.
We call, He runs.
We sin, He forgives.
We repent, He forgives.
We knock, He opens.
We attend, He welcomes.
We nag, He hears.
We request, He accepts.
We questions, He solves.
We plea, He resolves.
We take, He provides.
We insist, He grant.
Everything we do, is about us and everything He does, is about us.
So
"Which of the favours of your Lord can you deny?" (Surah Ar-Rahman : 18)
"And He gave you many things you asked for. And if you count the favours of Allah, you cannot count. No doubt, man is very unjust, un-thankful." (Surah Ibrahim : Ayat 34)

thank you God, Alhumdulillah, blessings
Allah bestwoned upon us countless blessings.
If we start writing them all, our life would come to end but Allah’s blessing will never finish.
To give thanks for blessings is itself a blessing, one can never cease to give thanks.
A believer thanks Allah for everything and in every situation.

We And Relationships

image, picture, patience, relationships
I've noticed in my life that we all want to be loved, understood and cared about. But mostly what we get, instead, is a feeling of being misunderstood, rejected and betrayed.
In society we're taught it's not OK to feel pain or hurt. Men, especially, feel they're not strong if they feel pain or hurt. It's crucial that we allow ourselves to feel those vulnerable feelings, because we can't heal them unless we're willing to feel them.

Miscellaneous

There are three phases of knowledge in Islam. When a Muslim has a little bit of knowledge, he or she speaks a lot. When a Muslim has increased his or her knowledge, he or she feels humble. When a Muslim has collected an abundance of knowledge, he or she is silent. In Islam, "silence is a mark of intelligence."

Wait Patiently:
"When Allah(God) knows you’re ready for the responsibility of commitment, He’ll reveal the right person under the right circumstances. Wait patiently. Don’t waste your time searching and wishing. Grow and be ready, you’ll see Allah (God) will give you a love story far better than you could ever dream of."

Is Life Just A Lie?

image, picture, patience, life
In life whenever we got cheated unexpectedly by people who are not only around us but also are really very close to us, at those times we feel Life is a lie. We feel crap. It hurts so bad and feels so empty inside.

A guy shared his feelings when he got cheated in love.
He said: "I have just experienced the worst break up ever and I know how absolutely devastating and heart crunching feel when long distance relationship ended for no reason. I cared about her deeply, I believed that our relationship was passionate and we both love each other. And now how I tell a story of a person, who betrayed me and that same person promise me to be everything in my life. I took my relationship with her as a fairy tale relationship. But now I lost my love my dream my innocent future.

Leave The Lying To The Liars

Sometimes you are involved in a situation that demands you to lie; it happens when people ask you about their looks or someone ask about the meal that they serve/cook and then you become confused; you don't want to hurt the feelings of someone by telling the difficult truth and also don't like  to speak lie.

Lying is also part of communication and we tend to lie a lot.
Mostly these may not be big lies, but it's not the matter the size of the lie. Lies are lies; big or small. Making false statements is one of those things that are fundamentally bad and forbidden. Lying is not permissible. Like each long journey starts with a small step as a person becomes a habitual of lying after speaking small lies and after lying too much, they will get used to it, they end up feeling like a liar, these small lies make him so dare, comfortable and careless regarding lying or a wrong-doing.
Many lairs justify their false statements as white lies or call their lies good for themselves or someone else.

When you observe, you will notice that you have to lie in certain circumstances:
1: You lie to protect someone’s feelings, when anyone ask you about their looks, how am I looking in this pants? am I looking fat? and then you have to compliment them without meaning it because  you don't want to hurt their feelings or don't wanna any mess, you only find escape in lying.
2: You speak lie very quickly when it comes to making false excuses.
3: There are fake smiles, only lies are not to deceive, smiles are too misleading.
4: Lying is in jokes too/racial jokes, jokes based on race and nationality are false, like jokes about  Africans,
5: You speak lie when you have to sell something, mostly advertisement based on exaggerations and misleading people and advertising promises too much. There is lying, products are not as perfect and useful as they present their things.
6: We lie confidently while we are bargaining, you wanna to reap benefits from making lies during bargaining.
7: When we admire our friends for gaining their favour/making wrong praise; making false statements like, Wow dear you are looking gorgeous. I don't think it is really you
8: Lying is also present in formal conversations: you always respond, fine, whenever any strangers ask about you, or when you don't want to upset any close one.
9: And while showing gratitude.

White lies are helpful and would not hurt anyone, save relationships, mostly ease hectic situations and also on occasions have good intentions behind, but in spite of all benefits of white lies, these are not totally good. The habit of telling the white lies make a person to speak more and more lies in future and turn him into a liar, then he may find it's easier  the more serious lies and to avoid telling truths. There is such a thin line between innocent/white lies and serious lies; once you cross it, it's difficult to come back.

Many lairs justify their false statements as white lies or call their lies good for themselves or someone else; they find lying as a helping tool to fix issues, to win conflicts and to make their lives go smoothly.

But in fact lying has many negative effects:
Lying destroys the inner peace of liars, feelings of guilt make them depressed, they feel fear of being caught and the burden of remembering of their lies. Lying not only destroy trust, but also liars have to lose someone they love, lying  push the close ones away  and then relationship fails. Lies make easy matters complicated. And the biggest disadvantage of lying is for liar that he lost his personality image and respect in society.
