Anger

The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger. (Sahih Bukhari)

When anger rises, think of the consequences.

Anger always comes from frustrated expectations.

Being angry doesn't mean that you have right to be cruel.
Anger is never without a reason, but seldom with a good one.

Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding.

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind.

For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.

Do not teach your children never to be angry; teach them how to be angry.

The more anger towards the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of living in the present.

I was angry with my friend. I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe. I told it not, my wrath did grow.

When you lose control, you lose respect and honor. Control your anger and desires and you control your honor and self-worthiness.

Anyone can become angry. That is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right way that is not easy. 

If we ourselves remain angry and then sing world peace, it has little meaning. First, our individual self must learn peace. This we can practice. Then we can teach the rest of the world.

Control anger before it controls you.
Anger is a normal, usually healthy emotion we all experience. But when anger gets out of hand, it can cause problems at home and at work place. Try to control of your anger, instead of letting it control you.
Excessive anger can cause problems. Increased blood pressure and other physical changes associated with anger make it difficult to think straight and harm your physical and mental health.

  1. We are just humans and we are created to have emotions..one of them is anger..for me being angry is not bad at all..

    as long as it is NOT ABUSIVE OR HABITUAL..there is what we call Righteous anger..being Angry with the Right Reason most specially when you are fighting for your Rights..and if it does not become one's habit of being angry All the time ..wahhhhhhh.. no person wants to be with a person who is always angry hmp :/

    Sometimes we need anger in our hearts to make us see the truth behind a persons fake mask that made us blinded for years..and this same anger gave us the strength to stand up and fight for the right reasons..-based on my own experience..

    Controlling anger is so important..let us all learn to control our emotions..Being Tired or Being in a Bad Situation is Never an Excuse for Excessive Anger that leads to Abuse..

  2. Anger makes us human. An irresistible reaction we must express reasonably. A state that should NOT be contagious.

    Never make a decision when you're angry..it will lead to regret.

    Anger causes HATE..and Hate is more dangerous as it lurks inside your system--the longer, the fatal.

  12. Anger wont control you.. it will only destroy you..Rootcauses of all problems is this.It can break relationships and trust me it is too bad...emotions should always be controlled but when it crosses the threshold then it will break...well written Asma... god bless

    an emotion of life, as real as joy and pain. You can not tame it, but cherish it. Life is better lived as being you then being your better side.. my take :)
